Unboxing: Horror Block (September)
Posted by Kim
I already posted about Horror Blocks before, and, as I said then, I decided to keep my subscription. So here's this month's!

The box had the same design as last time, so I won't focus on it too much. I do love that you can immediately tell what it is, because it meant I had plenty of reason to get excited when the postman handed me the package!

Two shirts! I got so excited to see this, although there was some apprehension mixed in regarding the Pennywise shirt. :P

Now: I'm terrified of clowns. When I was little, I watched Poltergeist and got really freaked out by that damn clown doll. Then, not too long after, I watched IT. Needless to say, Pennywise nearly made me pee my pants. However, at the same time I kind of love the fear Pennywise causes me. And IT in general (I read the book a few years ago, and I absolutely love it, even though at the time I wished I hadn't read it in bed). Basically, scary clown, awesome shirt!

This shirt is completely different and is apparently meant to go with the mask below. I'll probably wear it randomly. XD

I couldn't get this to photograph well, but you can tell it's pretty terrifying. It's from Iron Maiden, and I have to admit this went completely over my head. My brother, however, recognised and loved it from the start. XD

For Halloween (as is the shirt). :) Don't know if I'll use them, but otherwise I'm sure I can find someone who will.

A special edition of Rue Morgue, dedicated to horror movie heroes - as the title also says. There are interviews and articles on different people who are/were part of the horror business, such as actors, producers, people who work on the effects, etc. I only had a chance to start reading in it recently, but it's definitely interesting!

And the little card that shows what's meant to be included. :)
Already looking forward to the next one!
